Short Grass & Longhorns

I just finished reading this book printed in 1945 about the ranches of the Texas panhandle. It was very interesting to learn how people lived here in the 1880s and 90s. It talks about the LIT ranch that Mitch is forman of now and it lists my Great Grandad Mitch Bell as one of the people that read it for accuracy. I really enjoyed stories about individuals of that time.

Just finished this book. While it has good teaching and ideas; I found it not to be as engaging as I would have liked. Instead of wishing it had more; I couldn't wait to get to the end.

The premise is that you grow from each no you get. Helping you acheive more yeses.
